Kopitiam Malaysia On Suk26

Featured Replies

Recently went back to Kopitiam Malaysia on Sukumvit.

Was wondering if the place is under new ownership 'cos

1) The name is Archa (maybe always been that but I never noticed)

2) The food was bad. Its been many many months since I was last there and the food quality, taste wise, has deteriorated. I ordered the gado gado, the sauce was bland and tasteless. The morning glory fried with sambal balachan, hardly taste any balachan and it was basically morning glory fried with chili. The Assam laksa, only way to describe it would be dishwater.

I had always enjoyed eating at Kopitiam but this time I left dissappointed.

Too bad, that place used to be really good. There was another malaysian/indian place called 'malaysian Aunty' with killer food that also closed down a couple of years ago. Is there any way to get good laksa here without taking air asia to Penang?

That's too bad to hear. I'd love a home-style laksa. Last time I had Laksa I went to one of the Secret Recipe chains and it wasn't bad.
