Hello,

I plan to visit Bangkok on July. Cn you recommend any good company to rent a car for 2-3 weeks?

I searched on internet, of course, found something but I would like to hear experience of others ....

Thanks in advance :)

If I were you I would rent with a large international rental company as you can query any incorrect charges with your home country customer services for that company when you get home.

Second that!THAIRENTACAR!

Rented cars there many times and crashed a few of them badly and they never made any problems(5000 baht deposit, everything else is covered!)!

they deliever and pick up the car to/from your home!

I do not know Thai rent a car so I can not comment, but Thailand is defiantly a case of stick to the Majors, Avis etc. Take alot of pics before hand clearly at the depot at pick up, car rentals, jet skies, all a scam here. many are not even insured. Back home, I am happy to use the cheaper locals ones, but no way in Thailand. To many have learnt the hard way.

You've got;

Hertz, ThaiRentAcar, MasterCarRental. Another one I do not remember.

I go for ThaiRentAcar,, they do good marketing, involves many events.

Their office is on Petchburi Road. Not global,,, to me I am happy with the staff.

Hertz office is on Sathorn. A global company so they says,, their rate is global too.

Master Car Rental.. I lost it but there are showroom at Ending of Sukhumvit 24/ exist to Rama IV. Don't know anything. Only know they are next to Mercedes Showroom,, some connection there. Maybe it gives advantage of having good car.

Why don't you go to their website, check out their promotion.

If pick from Hertz and Thairent .. then Thairent...

ah... maybe check out how complicate to book and return a car.

I remembered it is quite troublesome with Hertz, one time on the Island. Not many staffs, we almost had to run to return.

Plus their booking compared to Thairent....... It is just I feel more comfortable with Thairent.
