Nakon Phatom

Featured Replies

Over the last couple of years Kanchanaburi has grown on me - I have taken to like the region and several of its town a lot. There are also quite a number of farangs in the area, some of whom appear here. However, wife and her Thai family gravitates towards BKK with frequent visits and also with some business in Samut Songkram, Nakon Phatom has come on the radar screen due to its location between BKK, Kanchanaburi and the road south. It is a compromise logistically.

We drove around there in April to get an impression of the area. It seems quite nice to me. However, I never read anywhere about expats choosing to live there. Are there some on this forum who live there and can give their view?
