I would appreciate assistance please from anyone familiar with iTunes.

Due entirely to my own fault ( I didn't put my glasses on )I incorrectly registered my iPod Classic as an iPod Touch when contacting the iTunes Store for the first time.

This has resulted in a major problem for me as when I access the iTunes Store it confirms I must have an iPod Touch to download any tunes/books etc.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling iTunes but that doesn't work as my email address is registered with them as an iPod Touch. I have searched the options but cannot find anything that relates to my problem.

I would very much appreciate any suggestions as to how I can correct this, and re-register correctly as an IPod Classic.

Many thanks

Hello, the simple solution would be to get an iPod touch. You might want to contact the Itune store for their assistance or get a different mail address from a free mail site. Cheers, Dale

you will be amazed at how good the support is on iTunes.

Last week I had a query similar to this and I got an email back from them with a solution within 2 hours. The support person mailed me again 2 days later to follow up and make sure I was happy.

I'm sure they will be able to help you on this.
