Rviews-a One Cruise, siam Bayshore And Hard Rock Ho

I stayed at Siam Bayshore for a week about two years ago. Located on the southern end of Walking Street, large grounds that are nicely landscaped, big swimming pool, rooms are OK, nothing special, big breakfast buffet, tennis courts, but minimal exercise room. I wouldn't stay there again because they hit me with an 800 baht joiner fee. I spent the entire week trying to sneak girls up to my room, but they have lots of security personnel patrolling the grounds.

Thanks in advance

Siam Bayshores nice, but a tad expensive for what it is. I prefer the Siam Bayview. I normally book through http://www.asiarooms.com and it is a lot cheaper. The Thai food in Bayview is fantastic. Breakfast is better in Bayview is much better than Bayshore.

Hadrock Hotel must be OK. One of my louder friends stays there. :o

Stayed at the Hard Rock earlier this year – Nice facilities but generally over priced.

My wife practically fell on the floor laughing at the price they wanted to charge for a bottle of water – I forget the price exactly but the same bottle of water can be bought at any local convenience store for about 1/10th the price. A frugal one she is.

They also charged a pretty penny for internet access – but at lest they have internet access.

The food was between OK and good – both western and Thai. But again overpriced.

Best part of the whole place is the pool.

Oh- and no bathtub – only showers at least in the rooms we had.

Nice place, pretty good atmosphere, but there are better values.

Thanks for your reply.

Do you know anything about the rooms, the fitness and the foam party?

When you meant food, you wanted to stay the food u ate in the restaurant or in the poolbar since we would like to have our lunch in the poolbar.

Hoping to hear from you soon
