QuickRick Thanks for that I was a little concerned. My Wife has just had a call from the Embassy, who's taking care of her kids , what Visa we have applied for etc. so I am hoping this is good news. I see from other members that they have recieved the sms a couple of days later so fingers crossed. Congratulations AllThaidUp, hope its a positive result. It's not unusual for the embassy to ring multiple times, they ring when they are unclear about some of the detail provided. Did you apply for visas for the children ? Do you intend to in the future ? The embassy probably want to be clear on this point as who has sole responsibility for care of children plays a big part in deciding if settlement visas should be granted for them. My wife applied for her son at the same time she applied for herself and providing evidence of who cared for her son on a daily basis was a big part of the application. We applied on the 14th of October and got our successful answer on the 18th of November. Which was 5 weeks. Being the tight so-and-so that she is, she only booked an hour in an internet shop and lost the application half-way through when the timer turned off her computer...I shouldn't laugh... Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email. Regards, Visa Application Centre She has not had a call from them or anything: goo thing or not? Excited/nervous now.
