Google Earth Finally Updated Its Images

Now the images for CM are 2010. Come and get it... really helpful for real estate, trails etc.

Chiang Mai Ram Hospital (google maps also updated - although I guess not as sharp as GE)

nope.. same clarity on GE, as Google Maps. Jeezuz! My neighbour has such a big house and pool when seen from space! The flash bastard!

You should have a couple years to build your own bigger ones before the next update, if you contact google they may tell you what date they will take the photo so you can leave your new merc in the driveway. Even better have a few dozen girls over for a nud_e pool party, that will give the neighbour something to be green about.

Sorry, I just posted the same info in the Maps and GPS forum. Google Earth also has a new version available. If you already have it installed you may want to update. GE doesn't update automatically, but of course the map images do.

Edit: BTW, the new images were taken between Jan and March 2010 according to the map info.
