MHM Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 I bought an Apple iPhone 3GS in MBK Bangkok Friday. Already the AIS SIM card has locked while downloading the latest iTunes software, so the phone is dead. iTunes says AIS is not an authorised carrier. I dread the return journey to MBK so soon so I ask - knowing it's a daft question - is there anyone competent to deal with this problem in Kan? I am quite distraught at the early demise of my new baby so any comments would be much appreciated.
apetley Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 There are a few small phone shops near the bus station that may be able to help. One I have used before is just past the new small Krung Thai Bank. Turn left out of the front of the bus station, first right. Walk past the fruit and veg stalls. Krung Thai is on your left as is a couple of small phone shops. The one I have used is the last one I think before the main road. He is an honest guy and won't have a go anyway if he can't help. Knows his limitations! Or how about the small phone shops top floor of Kannokan Dept Store. Maybe someone there who can help or knows someone who can. 1
mrtoad Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 There are also a few phone shops in a seperate block in the car park of Tesco as well.
