If people are tipping Forest they should keep their money in their pockets. Our record is not great, the defence is too flimsy and we have been too inconsistent. Ok there is a bit of momentum, at the right time, but I don't fancy our chances against the others (over 2 legs) - especially QPR !

I think the FA will bottle it and Warnock is right, Palios is attention seeking.

Message to Thaipauly.

Can you tell me why you dont want to see any Welsh teams in the Prem? Do you not like Welsh people?

Oh dear !

It's that time of year when the paranoia and insecurity comes out.

I imagine that Pauly just doesn't like going over the Severn bridge.

QPR's last game of the season is at home to Leeds the team who could benefit most from a QPR points deduction !!!

If QPR win then they should still make the play offs, even allowing for a quite severe points deduction, but if Leeds win...........

I wonder whether the premiership might not feel Leeds with their large away following a more favoured choice next season...:whistling:

The FA is a disgrace , the people they are hurting the most is the fans, who have done nothing wrong. Ian Wright sums them up in this article (not sure if we are allowed the Sun, but try anyway).

Good luck to the teams chasing the third spot via play-offs

If Leeds win ...... They still won't get into the play-offs unless QPR get a 17 points deduction.

That also assumes Forest get nothing from the Palace - highly unlikely.

Not made a good start. 1 - 0 QPR

I know this The Championship thread and Sheffield United are no longer a Championship side, but.

Manager Micky Adams has been sacked making the next guy to take the seat the fifth in the space of 9 months!!!!!!!!!!

Is this a record?

The side only won 4 out of the 24 games he was in charge of.

All the best Mickey.

Knuckle dusters being sharpened in the Welsh valleys? Would love to see a playoff final between those two! :D

Nice one Reading.

I certainly had Cardiff tipped win that but how wrong I was.......0-3 !!! That's got to hurt.

I didn't watch the game and have only just seen the result.....WELL DONE!!

Excellent result for Reading - well done.

Cardiff need to ask themselves a few questions. They had financed a squad that was designed to achieve automatic promotion. I have always admired Dave Jones as a manager, I trust that Cardiff will keep faith him. Not good to see Cardiff fans leaving in droves 10 minutes from the end.

Will be a good final now. Probably a good thing for humanity that it was not an all Welsh final.

Dave jones is a Top Man, he sent all the Cardiff Champagne to the Reading dressing room after the game. Very dignified in defeat in a match they were odds on to win, but without a shadow of a doubt we deserved is and then some. 3-0 is not a freak result.

I was very nervous about this one, now with Jimmy Kebe ready for Wembley and a run of only 1 defeat in 18 games I reckon we can do it.

Swansea have beaten us home and away this year and are managed by our old boss who we sacked. But McDermott has done an incredible job. In february we were 12th, just like Blackpool last year, we really gatecrashed the play-offs and perform very well in "Cup Style" games, having beaten Everton, West Brom, and only just losing out to Man City since February. So bring on the Swans, it will be a great game. I just pray we can win it, watching Reading on the TV again every saturday or sunday would be ace, I do so miss it since we got relegated a few years ago :(

Very happy with that result and tp you must be delighted, and as Carmine mentioned a lot of Home Counties sheep will be very relieved. Should be a great final - I'm hoping that will be able to get the Play Off Finals on somewhere in Koh Chang - and If Torquay get to the final of the League Two playoff then, 28th is going to be a long, long day Torquay, folllowed by Man Utd. :)

The plot thickens at QPR

http://www.dailymail...il-Warnock.html

So Warnock could be out, and heading off to West Ham - sure Singhas will be delighted to hear that.

For a club with so much financial backing, seems their not to keen on putting their hands in their own pockets.

i really can't see Colin going to West Ham

Nor can I.

Really can't.
