A little advice needed!!

I hold a UK passport & have recently arrived on a flight via Germany for a 3 week holiday. Upon arrival Thai immigration stamped the date I arrived on my departure card & not in my passport & they have missed off the 30 day admitted until stamp completely.

Will this cause me any problems at immigration when I depart Thailand next week?

I would think there will be problems yes. You been here at least a week and just noticed? May I ask what brought it to your attention? Good luck<BR>

Just noticed as I was going through my flight documents etc, and realized their mistake. I didn’t think to check at the time as I was in a rush to get to the hospital as my partner has just had a baby. Anyone know if there are immigration offices in Udon Thani?

Visit immigration, they should be able to corect it although they might send you to Bangkok. It should be no big deal, only some lost time.

I had a similar situation some years back but hadn't picked it up until departure. The date on the departure card was enough, and although it was brought to my attention it wasn't as if it was my responsibility. I also had my ticket and inbound boarding pass I could have used if necessary to verify the date.

I think you're becoming concerned about nothing; I don't believe it's your responsibility to ensure immigration personnel stamp your passport, and there will be a computer record, but if you have even a tiny concern, arrive half an hour before you normally would, just in case. . Enjoy your stay.
