Any suggestions for a good Hotel in Hua-Hin where I can book a Bungalow on the beach or located bordering the Beach ? [budget or Mid price range]

Do you know any place where they setup Tents, other facilities in Hua Hin? Like to sleep on the floor. :o

What is the name of the area where you get the best Beach in Hua-Hin?

Thank you

All the beaches are nice as long as you avoid the Horse Shit!

Hotels on the Beach are not cheap, but there are some good Guest Houses just off it. Forgotten the name of the one I stayed in for 500bht a night but you will find several right at the southern end of town a few yards from the beach. Past the big

American style Hotel ?. Sorry to be a bit vague.....

Hua Hin is a bit boring unless you have a lovely lady to keep you happy.

Sea food is great & cheap.

It was real cheap, but the kids got bitten by the mosquitos and just took the edge of the stay!!

Yes sir, I stayed at the Hua Hin Blue Wave hotel back in 1998. It is right on the beach and I dont remember an exact price I paid, but it was not at all expensive. The hotel was very quiet, clean, nicely decorated and had almost no other guests there at the time. It almost felt like I had the hotel to myself. The only bad thing was its quite a way into the downtown area and there is nothing else around the hotel. Very secluded. Nice pool too. Hope this helps.

Check out Ban Pak-Hua Hin...

Its right on Soi Binthabath where all the bars are (well not all the bars, just the ones I frequented). Cheap too, around 250-350 baht a night. If you're going to come back late you'll have to squeeze through the security gate and tiptoe past the attendant snoring on the couch but thats no problem. The security gate isn't locked its just slid closed to keep drunk farangs from wandering in. :o

Heres the phone number 03-251-1653

Good Luck...

Just out of the mainarea where the night market sets up is a small soi full of places to stay which are all the bed and breakfast style places. I have stayed in two different ones and found them to be great value...clean and quiet. You can walk to them from the bus stop in about 15 minutes. If you are at the intersection at the bottom of the night market and facing down the street to fishing piers/seafood restaurants........you walk to your right side and just keep following this road......the main road through town. After 10 to 15 minutes you willcome to anaera which used to be just overgrown reeds and trees on the left side. On the right side is a school with a bus stop infront of it where some motobike taxis hang out. Opposite this bus stop you will see a small mumma and poppa shop and a haridressers shop. next to thses shops is a soi, turn left there and after about 20 metres just veer over to the right as the soi splits off into a parallel soi where there is a 100 metre strip of guesthouses. the beach is only a two minute walk down the rest of the soi. At the beach there is also a nice restaurant where I have eatenmany times and it is right on the beach which is deserted at night. Take a stick with you as there was a dog last time I walked down there. great food too. the guesthouses all do food for breakfast farang and Thai. Rooms may have air con and tv so its not bad for around 500 to 600 baht.
