90 Day Visa

Featured Replies

Have not seen the passport so not sure if this is correct info I have been told..

English guy paid 2,300 baht for a 90 day Visa in Malaysia.. ?

He then went to Immigration and paid 1,000 baht for a “re-entry permit” ?

Day 86 did a 'Boarder Run' and got stamped back in for another 90 days ?

Is this true?

Sure I know a 12 month Multi entry you get almost 15 months.

No, that is not true, unless immigration made a mistake and thought he had a multiple non-immigrant. (In which case he has to correct the problem a he is now on overstay).

A re-entry permit only keeps your original permission to stay date alive, it doesn't add days you where not in Thailand.

Thanks, that sounds more like it, no idea why people must tell such stories, if it were true would have thought there would have been many posts about it, so that is why I asked.
