Big Feet

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Where in Bangkok can I buy size 14 shoes. Or size 45 if your European. I need some new shoes urgently and cannot find any to fit me. I would prefer the silom area if possible but if I need to go further I will.

Thank you

I take a size 13 and have found it impossible to purchase shoes. You can try have them made to order. I think there is a place in Sukhumvit Soi 1. Know of a couple of places down here in Pattaya.

Hey Onnut.

If you find a place gimme a shout!

Same as you mate, all kinds of wonderous shoes...... upto 43/44 here - but i'm 45 like you - sucks to be a bigfoot in the land of smiles (and small feet!) :)

You said the magic words " Know of a couple of places down here in Pattaya". Whereabouts? Like you I'm rather well endowed - in the wrong place!

It takes a lot of running around, but I can usually find shows (size 46-47). I have found shoes in Central, Siam Square, MBK. However, it takes perseverance and obviously choices are limited.

I went to Echo shoes in central bang-na and they wouldn't even order shoes in for me! Don't know why. At 4k a pair you think they would order in a couple of pairs my size of the models I liked in the shop.

This is doing my head in, the 3 pairs I bought from Timberlands in Pattaya a year ago are all worn out and falling apart. They cost 3k a pair and don't even last a year. And that's not wearing them everyday.

If you know your size and preferred brand, then why not order via the Internet. That is what I do for my running shoes as I cannot find those anywhere.

I have found a great shop that sells shoes up to the size of 47. all leather and hand made.

in between Soi 4 Silom and Patpong on the same side of the road is a leather shop.

I just bought two pairs, one black for the suits and one brown for casual wear. 3300 baht total.

go check them out.

Onnut: I can imagine if you are having a hard time finding size 14 shoes, you must in a pickle when it comes to underwear?

There are a couple of places in MBK, one on the ground floor at the end farthest away from the BTS and my mate tells me there are also a couple on the 3rd or 4th floor.

I bought a pair of "Nike" trainers for 1,700 baht but they shoes also.

Nah! I was not so lucky in that department. LOL

That would be the Chao Phraya Footwear Company or something like that. You need not go as far as Silom. They also have a store on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 11. It took me ages to find shoes a couple of weeks ago (3 days).
