getting out of the bed is a struggle and

Coming down the stairs from my bedroom I'm like a 90 year old in a 38 yearolds body.

I play sport and stay fit but these last few months my hands and feet have had constant pain/stiffness.

should i be taking some sort of supplement

I recommend you seek medical advice (good) before you start self medication.

Second that.

If you want to take a supplement, glucosamine is the one. Fish oil may also be of some benefit and certainly can't hurt.

But with or without these, you need to see a doctor. What you describe may be rheumatoid arthritis, which typically does first affect the hands and feet and presents as stiffness in the morning. Diagnosis of this typically involves X-rays (not MRI/CT, just regular film) and blood tests. Some of the latter can be costly so if this is a concern for you ask first about the cost of the various lab tests, as some (but not all) of them can possibly be foregone if the Xrays are conclusive enough.

Dr. Virat at Bumrungrad is a very good rheumatologist.

If you do have RA, early treatment is important to minimize disability.
