Changing Cash Old Series

My Mum sent me some cash a while back and I never got round to changing it, it's 80 pounds in 20's, and surprise the banks say that this is the old series and wont change them, they don't look old at all. Any ideas what to do?

At to days rate you have 3786 baht. Hang on to them tell you go back or find somebody that is going back and well exchange with you.

i am going to the uk next wednesday returning back to chiangmai 3 oct if you want me to change them (i have a couple myself).
