Way too small pictures when you try to enlarge them. You should buy a new camera or learn the diffrence between thumbnail and enlarge.

Yesterday fished at Bungsamran with Dave,Steve and our guide Boonsong as our targeted fish was caho. We ran 6 rods, 3 rods for cahos and 3 rods for mekongs at number 30 on the central pier. The weather was overcast the whole day and very short heavy downfall around 5 pm.

Boonsong made his special caho bait which costed 500baht and for mekongs just Lam+buttermilk+pondwater. We used one and a half sack of lam. There were nopt many anglers but quite a number of Russians.

We caught 2 cahos 25kg and the other 30kg. And we were happy. The total haul of mekongs were 58 between 16kg to the largest 72kg. All weighted and certified by our fish accountant Dave who insisted to weight each and every fish. We have 2 scales up to 200ilb but it's not a spectacular day except for the 2 cahos. The bite rate was good in the morning then there was lull from 2pm to 430pm then it was good again.

It was a good enjoyable fishing with friends.

Went to Bungsamran 2pm yesterday to fish with my friends for caho we ran 4 rods and caught one 32lg caho. A few mekongs. The weather was pretty cool and as it was a sunday the central pier was crowded so had to get a bungalow. One of my friend flew in saturday morning to fished saturday and sunday at Bungsamran and flew back to Singapore last night. He caught 2 cahos on saturday at bungalow number 1 and a few decent size mekongs.

The bite rate is not good as the weather is pretty cool in Bangkok.

Started fishing 3pm on central pier as we fish one side of the pier for mekongs and the other for cahos. Too much disturbance on the bungalow. 3 rods for cahos and 3 rods for mekongs.

Bungsamran was busy but not crowded and it was good on the pier. Although the temperature was 28C it was not hot. Not windy and decent sunshine. The biterate was not good and the big mekongs were not biting. Total catch was 42 mekongs and 2 cahos. The mekongs were small being the largest at 42kg. We used 3 sacks of lam.

The bite rate for cahos were low there were no bites for 5 hours till 8pm plus one bite and I caught a 29kg caho. Steve had only 2 bites one was lost and caught a 19kg caho just after 11pm. My friend Dave is desperate to catch a caho this trip.

It was a good day as these were the only 2 cahos caught the whole day as this was the targeted fish and catching mekongs was to have a bit of fun.

Finally my friend Dave caught 2 cahos 25kg and 32kg back to back after 10 hours of trying to catch one today. This is the 8th day he fish at Bungsamran. Another 52kg caho was caught by a German fishing with guide Boonsong. Bungsamran was quiet today and ideal for carp fishing.

We were bottom fishing for cahos but caught a number of mekongs. Weighing between 16 to 42kg some were healthy and some were big but very skinny probably sick or old. The quality of Lum sold in Bungsamran were not too good. Having problems posting some pictures will do so another day.

I had no trouble seeing the pictures. Very good they were too. Better to enjoy that post "get a new camera" things. The forum is for fun. Relax - dont worry and be happy!

Last day fishing for Dave,Adam and son Josh before they fly home to Uk. We ran rods for Cahos,Chao Phraya and mekong. Used 90kg of lum no Cahos but caught quite a number of decent size mekongs the 2 largest were 39kg and 82kg. Dave took 25 minutes to bring this fat mekong. The guide Wee delivered again.

And our experimental makeshift to anchor the rod using floats, spikes and bite alarm

Had a good fun day as the norm Dave was clowning about the whole day.

Robblok, Dave and Adam said hope to fish with you again if they can come back this May.
