Enbrel

Featured Replies

I have a friend coming to Thailand for a 6 month stay. He suffers from severe rheumatoid arthritis, treated in Canada with a drug called Enbrel (he uses 25mg injection). I have sourced it at a local branch of large chain of hospitals- problem is they only can supply 50 mg size and there is more to the procedure than simply splitting in half. other problem is that it is 19,000 B. a pop (no mis-print!!)

I am wondering is anyone has experience with buying Enbrel 25mg in Thailand.

Boith the 25mg and 50mg strength are listed in MIMs 9Thai directory of pharmaceuticals).

So the 25mg form should be available somewhere. Suggest you try Fascino's.

But it will indeed cost big $$ as it is an import and no generic local version. Will certainly cost more than it does in Canada or Europe. If he can bring it with him, will save money.
