I had to go to AIS's main office in Chiang Mai to get a micro simcard last week, so I doubt that 7-11 has them yet.

7-11 sells regular sized ones, just go to one of the ais, dtac etc shops in the shopping centers or in tukcom. they will set you up

a good "handyman" will make any sim fit the iphone... saw it in india being done on the street!

They are fairly easy to cut down. I brought one (from a 7-11 incidentally) last week to stick in an iphone 4 temporarily until I can get my own SIM done properly at the AIS shop. It's been working fine.
