If you've read my posts, you know I can be sarcastic and full of negativity, but also informational. Take everything with a dash of salt or MSG.

I would like to reaffirm Chiang Mai as the top city in Thailand for 1) sanitation 2) food quality 3) value for money 4) toleration for foreigners, even the dirty backpackers, in circus pants, with funny hair, no sleeves, and ugly tattoos.

When I take side trips, I am always really glad to get back here to Chiang Mai. Yes, there are issues, like everywhere else, but overall it's gotta be NUMBER 1! Cheers everybody!
