6 years on retirement Extensions, this year went to Perth and have a yearly '0'

next year will go back onto retirement extensions again.

Advise please:

Present '0' ends 1st March 2011, do I get the retirement extension before this date ?

or can I still do the last 90 day boarder run towards the end of February and then do the retirement extension ?

You can do 90 day border runs up until the day before your multiple-entry Non "O" visa expires. Retirement extension of stay can be applied for anytime before your permission to stay stamp expires.

You can do a final border run and come back to Thailand just before the VISA expires and get a new 90 day permission to stay.

During the last 30 days of any permission to stay you can apply for a 1 year extension of stay, so you can do it after your last border run in Feb.

As said it is the permision to stay date that is important, not the Visa expiry date.
