Should Bedlam be a place where we exclusively discuss:

Tits, Hangovers, Sex Toys, SEx Organs, Willies, Procreation...Sexyool Interkoors, <deleted> of the Day etc..

or should it be a place where other more serious subjects (such as the logic of argument - which has now been deleted for some unknown reason) controversial or not?

I recon it should be a place where anything can be discussed. The MOD's dont like anything contravercial though. There seem to be a number of posts deleted in this "unmoderated" forum. If a thread gets out of hand I say lock it noy delet it. Let "belam" be moderated by its peers not the moderaters.

I'm not sure if I'm right but as a "private" forum its not even subject to search bots?

Why was TM's post deleted? It seemed totally non-offensive to me....really. Jai Dee has the right attitute.....I'm like him only my tastes are very different...if people want alcohol and sex discusssions then I don't care, I just pass them by. I really would like an explanation as to why TM's post was deleted.

Would whoever deleted the post please appear and explain why?

I dont know what post of TM's is supposed to have been deleted, but I've noticed a few dissapear from here over the last week or so. I had one deleted and got myself banned for about 8 hrs. Which supprised me as this is suposedly an "unmoderated discussion forum"

Mabye some guidlines would be in order?

But seriously I think it should be an open forum, with a few guidelines set out.

If I don't like a thread (politcal or religious nonsense for example;) I generally

just ignore it. As for bots recording bedlam, I believe the .txt has been disallowed?

I think cdnvic was the mod online at the time... maybe PM him for an answer?

Bots: Bots cannot access Bedlem, a particular username needs be be allowed access - and bots crawl as guests i beleive.

Rules: Generally there are very few rules here, unless something is obviously over the line its pretty much anything goes, as Bots cant get in here we can allow content that wouldnt normally be allowed in the non-restricted areas.

Thread Merge: Dunno mate, not guilty.

So the bottom line is this area is loosely moderated, but it is still moderated, its not a troll infested flame pit where anything goes.

I'm sorry if some people dont like the idea of moderators being allowed to moderate here, deal with it guys, we work hard to keep this a nice place, and unfortuantely sometimes even people with access to bedlem post crap.

I'm gunna shut this thread down now, because i dont feel there is any real use in keeping it open, i will however ask in the Moderator forum for the person responsible to PM you directly to resolve your issue TM. Thats the best i can do.
