Agree. This is Panasonic's counter to the Sony NEX, pushing the GF series towards the consumer market. Hopefully there will be a more serious offering sometime next year. Meantime, my GF1 will continue to serve me well.

The dial on the GF1 is to switch modes rather than shutter speeds, so won't get used that often. For the iPhone generation, touch screen makes sense.

Personally, I miss the old style analogue controls. The new Fuji X100 appeals to me.

I prefer a camera that I hold against my head and look through.

Much steadier that way.

I can just imagine my nose touching the screen and changing all the settings............ :bah:

There is a plug in viewfinder available that you look through, but it's an interesting point about the nose hitting the screen though..
