webfact Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW “Become PM and you’re out,” Karuna warns Newin By The Nation Karuna Chidchob, wife of Bhum Jai Thai Party de facto leader Newin, said she would divorce her husband if ever he became prime minister. “Any day Newin becomes prime minister, I will divorce him right away,” she said during an interview for Nation Weekend’s latest issue. When asked about Newin’s political future, she said her family had had “enough.” The couple are now focusing on developing Buri Ram’s football teams with the husband running Buri Ram PEA and the wife Buri Ram FC. It was the first time the low-profile wife of Newin had given an interview to the media, appearing in the orange uniform of a cheerleader captain of the Buri Ram FC, which she owns. Karuna’s comments covered more than her painful experiences in political life. As chairperson of the club, she talked of how she manages and motivates the team towards its goal next year as champions of the Northeast Division 2. She then plans to follow her husband’s footsteps by leading her team to the elite Thailand League by 2012. -- The Nation 2010-11-05
Thailand Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Unless he sees red and gets sent off anyway.
geriatrickid Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Can't blame her. Being married to a PM and dealing with the hate and abuse from nutters 24/7 is not worth it. People like to crap all over politicians, but you should see with the freaks and losers they have to deal with. Evryone thinks his or her problem deserves immediate priority.
kuffki Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Smart lady. OR perhaps she knows little more about personal affairs then we do. and if he was to become PM, The rest of the people may also learn about those affairs
asiawatcher Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Smart girl - I wish I could get my wife to divorce me over my business. Would solve a lot of issue!
sprq Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 If Newin became prime minister, I think I would divorce Thailand.

Strange; I thought it was politicians who crapped all over the people of Thailand on a daily basis !
Zolt Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Wait, the guy is now despised by both sides in Thailand's political conflict. How the hel_l does he have any chance of becoming PM in the first place?
bangon04 Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Smart lady. but after he puts his assets in her name and the names of the servants. and only if he is likely to get caught.
Robby nz Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 For her to say that he must have made the suggestion that he would somehow be in line for the PM job.
TAWP Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 So now I am having ambivalent feelings towards if Newin should be a PM...
animatic Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Wait, the guy is now despised by both sides in Thailand's political conflict. How the hel_l does he have any chance of becoming PM in the first place? Subject to change at any time. All depends on his roll as rainmaker for one side or the other.

mca Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I smile when I read about the " Friends Of Newin " That's a club to belong to isn't it. Sort of like being a member of the " Gonorrhoea-Infected And Proud Society "
