Does anyone know of some good lakes or ponds in or near kanchanaburi? The local fishing shop only suggested the river and a REALLY small square pond :bah: left at the lights, top of town.

I'd really like to get into some big sawai carp, or even mekong.. :thumbsup:

Why don't you try IT Lake Monsters?

From what I've heard, not cheap,but real monsters! Otherwise, you have the choisse between Khao Laem and Srinakarin dams!

The northern end of Srinakarin Dam provides some great action.
