NBA HDTV started on the Measat C Band satellite, free to view some two weeks ago. Not sure how long it is going to be free though, not long I suspect.

I've got a dreambox with the big c band dish and the smaller dish. How would I go about finding this as I don't ever touch the setting. I'd love to catch some games and I'm hoping that maybe star and espn will start showing games in December. IIRC, these channels didn't show games in November last year either.

ESPN3 (online) simulcasts the twice weekly doubleheader games (starting 7 am Thur and Sat mornings here?) that air nationally on TV in the U.S.

But, you have to be able to log-in using the customer ID/password of a U.S. cable TV or Internet customer whose provider has a deal with ESPN to provide complimentary online access, which includes most of the big providers such as AT&T, etc.... And a U.S. IP address via VPN...

On in the alternative, there's the NBA's own International League Pass.

The video version with all live regular season games plus on demand for the 24 hours after is $60 for the season or $12.95 per month.

And it's good because, since it's aimed at the international market, there are no VPN or proxy issues involved, and no blackouts for home games and such as occurs with the U.S. online version.

In addition, if you register for free with the NBA web site, they'll give you free access to their Audio League Pass, which includes live radio broadcasts of all their games.

Unless you have a DM800 or DM8000 both HD set top boxes you will not be able to see it. The satellite is here on this link http://www.lyngsat.com/mea91.html and you need a HD set top box like this one on this link http://www.jsat.tv/fta-satellite-packages/hdtv-set-top-box.html
