Russian and Turkish Nationals Arrested for Illegal IT and Interior Installation Work
KPN police is well known for "local assistants" - thais searching for any misconduct and reporting back. No secret they work for "share" of bribe. Say you want to sell 'shrooms at Full Moon Party? you'll need to contact them, agree on "installments" and God Speed. These 2 cases and just an example of very careless thinking. -

Kamala Harris Expresses Openness to Exploring Reparations for Slavery
I have to appreciate how difficult is is for far too many who look for simple answers out of purposely wanting a simple answer or incapable of dealing with complex issues. They want a more secure world of yes/no, right/wrong answers ... -

Honest Question: How is Trump a 'threat to Democracy'?
Amending the Constitution requires a double supermajority: an amendment introduced in Congress has to pass both houses by a two-thirds vote, and then must be approved by the legislatures of three-quarters of the states. https://www.newyorker.com/culture/annals-of-inquiry/the-united-states-unamendable-constitution If you read the above article you will see that there have literally been hundreds and hundreds of attempts to amend or abolish the electoral college, all but 1 failed. To abolish the EC and introduce a different system you'd need a majority of states to agree, who would never do that, because they benefit from EC. Good luck trying. And yes, ranked voting complicates matter greatly, it would be a nightmare.- 1

Kamala Harris Expresses Openness to Exploring Reparations for Slavery
Tug, you should already have noted that I am of the same mind. However, reparations is defined as: "the making of amends for a wrong one has done, by paying money to or otherwise helping those who have been wronged." So, reparations but noe necessary any direct payment which I would oppose. I share my reasoning as I again think we agree on much. None of us living today were alive let alone responsible for things that had been accepted in the past. This has been driven home personally as I researched my family DNA. Quakers, small farmers in 1600s New Jersey and the documentation confirms they had owned slaves. -

Interactive Wire Transfer In Baht to Bangkok Bank - BBK Transfer fees?
There is no obvious way to see if the receiving Thai bank (Bangkok bank in my case) charged that .25% fee. The bank statement just shows the resulting amount of ฿ with no explanation of exchange rate or fees. How did you "offer to pay all charges"? I assume that choice was at your originating bank. I don't think that would cover any fees by the receiving bank, only for intermediary banks if any. -

Any reports of recent ME Non-I O visa (marriage) in region?
No. Would only be valid for the 90 day stamp from the non O OR if have applied for the extension it would be valid for till date they give you for under consideration period. It's of interest. So you did this in Bangkok. Did you use an agent? You could have supplied a COR so did you buy insurance? It might be easier to just exit and reenter visa exempt each time till such a time that you see a big enough time slot inside to do the ve to non O to 12 month extension. Re home visit ....that depends on your immigration office. Most offices would do home visit and you are required to be present
