Featured Replies

Current Thai passport is shortly to expire.

Anyone have any knowledge of the turnaround times for the new Phuket Passport Issuing Office?

Hey, if it's this efficient............

So, what do you have to submit on the first / only visit?

I'd guess old passport, ID card, tabien baan - anything else?

Its a lot more efficient than Australia. My wife already had a passport and had no problem changing it from previous her married name.

I think ID card and previous passport or just ID card, The staff are very efficient and friendlily.

I am sure if your partner checks with her Thai friends she will have no problem

You can choose if you pick it up or have it send to you for 35 baht. Normall takes about 4 days, not including weekend/hollidays of course.

You don't need to bring a photo, they take them themselves, but will need current passport, ID-card and tabien barn and the fee of 1,000 baht.
