Hello, I have Windows 11 installed on an "uncompatible "PC ( only because my processor is 7 st generation ) today, in Windows update, I received a message for update 24H2 ( it's the first day ) I said Ok, and everything was updated as usual, but when I look in "system ", I see that I am still with 23H2 Does it mean that the update didn't work ? why , and how to update to 24 H2 ? thanks -

The "non resident" terminology Australian private health insurance companies use relates to migrant workers and for overseas students who are studying in Australia, also longer stay family visit visas. It has nothing to do with an Australian citizen's geographic choice of living, anywhere in the world. Basically, it means a Thai citizen, for example, can not insure themselves with a private health insurance company in Australia, and they are not even in Australia, not have they ever been. In other words, private health insurance companies only insure foreign nationals, if within Australia, legally. A foreign national can not insure with an Australian private health insurance company, need treatment, and fly to Australia for the treatment, similar to medical tourism. I continue to pay private health in Australia, and it's not cheap. It's absolutely worthless to me in Thailand, but if I have a major illness or injury, as soon as I get off the plane in Australia, I am straight to a doctor of my choice, and no doubt operated on days later, not months, or years later, like under Medicare. I have this in writing from them. It is not like Centerlink and re-establishing residency. If you "financial" with a private health insurance company, as soon as you are back on Australian soil, you are entitled to claim. It is like insuring a house in Australia, but you don't live in Australia. If the house burns down, the insurance company pays out. I am insured within Thailand, and when leaving Thailand, I get a short travel insurance policy, as I did last week for the Singapore F1. See the below link. "Thai's do not flash to warn others of a Mobile Speed Camera etc..." They do flash their lights onto oncoming traffic in Phuket if there is a speed camera or a Police roadblock ahead. I say that as I have had cars flash me several times, as I am all legal etc I drive on and arrive at the police check. The drivers also phone their friends to tell them the info, which is why Police checks are not there for very long. -

You do not need to get enalapril and atenolol at a hospital. Available and very cheap at any pharmacy. -

Not my take, but I respect your viewpoint. I think she mostly did 'give a toss'--but not every waking minute of every day of the 19 years of her show. So, cancel her. Also not buying Markle being a horrible tyrant, either. I think both are victims of some 'underlings', frankly, not really knowing their place in the workplace hierarchy--and seizing on, and likely blowing up, a few instances of perhaps poor behavior to 'get at' the boss. I do wonder if reprimanding an employee is now considered poor behavior by a boss, who is not being 'kind' and 'loving'. Maybe only if they are female and named Markle. Or, a certain magazine editor wearing Prada. We're seeing the same thing with Harris--some stories of staff turnover. She must be the dreaded 'difficult to work with'. Can't have that, at least not in a woman. Note: If an 'underling is reduced to tears', likely they are the wrong person for a demanding, high-pressure job and should look for something more suitable to their delicate temperament. Perhaps teaching flower arranging. These days, with social media so pervasive, a few negative stories, true or not, can easily leave a false, unfair impression. I think that is mostly the case with both women, with some envy and jealousy thrown in for good measure. I re-read some of the Ellen workplace stories and found myself thinking, what's the big deal. Pretty thin, watery gruel to feast on considering 19 years of workplace behavior involving hundreds of workers to dissect and find fault with. The sole possibly serious charge I noticed involved alleged sexual harassment or other questionable behavior by three male producers, who were fired. People are human, they aren't perfect. If a celebrity chooses to use their public position to try to both promote and to try to be kind, compassionate, etc., I don't think it's hypocrisy if they aren't always successful in practicing what they preach. And, it is certainly not hypocrisy, in my book, to believe and promote love, joy, etc., as important things to strive for in general, but also be focused, in the workplace as a boss running a business, on other important things--like keeping the business afloat. Ellen did that for 19 years, keeping her show at or near the top of the ratings, not an easy thing by any means. And, at the same time, keeping her workers employed, including, it seems, some rather resentful, ungrateful ones. -

What did your parents die of?
Father died at age of 81 from multiple issues - had had a minor stroke, had pulmonary failure and maybe vascular dementia. But outlived his 2 brothers. Spent most of last 2 years sitting in his chair, sleeping. Mother died mainly of old age - spent over 12 years in a nursing home, had dementia and lots of minor issues, just slowly lost the battle, age 93. Still have one Aunt left, about 90, severe vascular dementia. No one in my generation died yet (13 of us, between 80 and 60).
