I am looking for accommodation options in the town of Sisaket, prefer to stay in the town it self if possible.

Also would appreciate some travel options as well.

Travel options to/from where? Or around town?

From BKK - train or bus - overnight or all day - 400 to 800 baht depending on quality. Nakonchai Air (a bus company) is the most comfortable.

If you have someone in SiSaket who can pick you up from Ubon International (sic) Airport (60km away) then fly with Air Asia from Bangkok Suvarnabhum - the cheapest of 3 carriers - will cost 1,500 to 2,000 baht one way all-up depending on promotional availability. I don't know but I would guess that a taxi to Si Saket from Ubon Airport (there are a couple of taxi counters as you leave baggage claim) would be of the order of 700-1,000 baht.

I have stayed in the NorthEast or as my wife called it "The not eat."

Good clean place with a nice little restaurant behind it.

Franks place is very good too. this may help you....
