With my notebook PC I can now only access the internet with Chrome. I normally use Opera and sometimes IE but am not able to get access as before.

^ Chrome uses Windows proxy settings (by default), so I doubt that's the problem. Are you running any security software (e.g. Kaspersky, Norton Internet Security, N360, etc) or third-party firewall? If so, you may want to check there first.
