EV Charging Stations (CS)
Yea, to get max power out of a solar panel it needs to be receiving "bright" sunshine "perpendicularly" (i.e., 90% to a given line), Unless a person is going to be constantly moving their EV during the day trying to maintain that perfect perpendicular line of sight between the solar panel and the sun they are going to fall far short of some power amount only attainable in a "laboratory environment" testing environment...and of course this would also assume never a cloud in the sky. Plus, the entire top of a EV covered with black-blue solar cells (say goodbye to your sunroof) ain't going to look that good IMO. And the additive cost to provide a a kilowatt or two of charging per day just ain't worth it. Now I'm expect there is experiential solar "paint" and/or "wrap" which someday in the future may allow the entire surface of a car (sides, front, back & top) to generate electricity.....and you can still wax it!!! Oh, what the future will probably bring! -

Good for you mate. I'm only 70 and I also drastically reduced my beer intake over the years. Now I have 3 large bottles of Chang most nights. Exceptions are Friday & Sunday where I have 5-6 on an afternoon with food instead of a night time drink. Giving up alcohol doesn't make you live any longer - it just feels like it. -

After the iPhone 4 I jumped to Android (Samsung) and it was leaps and bounds ahead. Had several Samsungs. Was convinced to go back to Apple when I got the 14 ProMax. Regretted it. I still have it but whenever it is time to renew I am definitely going back to Samsung unless Apple comes out with something extraordinary......and that is unlikely. And Apple are a grubby company. My daughter (16) just did a trip back to the UK and got water on her iPhone 13 (supposed to be water resistant) when a bottle of water in her bag wasn't sealed properly. She went to an Apple store and they told her £425 (18,700 baht) to fix it so told her to forget it. Got it fixed here when she got back for 4,000 baht - new screen and new battery by Dr Smartphone. I love their computers and can't ever imagine not using Macs. But iPhones are just not that great any more. No innovation, just more of the same. Siri is useless and their AI is terrible.
