Powers and Weapons: Icemaiden is able to generate intense cold and project ice from her hands.

Sigrid Nansen grew up in Norway.  Her mother was a scientist specializing in bio-chemistry. Sigrid was a research assistant working in a laboratory in which scientists were trying to duplicate the powers of the legendary Ice-People of the Norwegian mountains.  The government of Norway wanted a Norwegian member in the newly formed Global Guardians and this research was a way to create a Norwegian Super-Hero.  Sigrid volunteered as a subject for the tests and was endowed with cold and ice generating powers.  She joined the Global Guardians, but was never really confident in battle situations.  When the Norwegian government discovered the Ice-People and brought back Tora Olafdotter, Sigrid quit the Global Guardians as she felt she could not compare to a "real" Icemaiden.  Tora took over the name Icemaiden and joined the Guardians.  When Tora, who had later assumed the name Ice, was killed, Sigrid began battling crime again in an attempt to honor Tora's name, eventually joining the Justice League for a brief time.  She was later part of the very short-lived Justice League Europe revival, where she was impersonated by the villain The Mist.

Khall - Yeah. I'm feeling ill tonight and drugged up it didn't hurt at first now it's playing up. But I was braver this time. I don't know why I didn't get a sticker though? I deserved one.

Britmaveric - Yes he is still with her. But like he tells me, without her he wouldn't be able to live in Thailand. Harsh I know. And he's not just saying that to keep me happy either. I'd be honestly happy for him if they had feelings for each other.
