That time of year, classes begin in Universities... Consider, (1)you're required to obtain an MATEFL to keep your job, or (2) you're studying now in a Thai MATEFL International program (3) Could you transfer universities with course units in an MA program to another program within Thailand? Or do you start over from stratch? YES.. depends on the dean and school... What experiences could you share?

For example, have any of you out there had experiences with a Thai Thesis Advisor who is shall we say, very picky, but actually good at their job?

A buddy of has mentioned in his program, the classes are rather boring because the Thai students cannot discuss readings in class, because the comprehension level is about less than 40%.. Thus it seems a discussion one on one with the instructor, who at times has a cultural behavior on not wanting to answer questions. Writing paper are always a challenge, using APA can be a necessary pain in the ARSE..

Well let's hear the talk stories..shall we... ;)
