December 20, 200322 yr Hello Eric, I guess by now you know that you will never be part of a Thai family. I strongly suggest you read Phil's story here
December 20, 200322 yr I strongly suggest you read Phil's story Ah . . . now I know why my wife's family want us to build the house in concrete and brick!
December 20, 200322 yr I feel all the advice and hints have been covered. Your predicament is well covered by "Phils Story". Which should become a recommended read for new and old forum members. 1.New for its advice factor & 2.Old for the reminder factor. Some will say "not me" I thought that once - as the clock struck 19 years low and behold out of the closet popped the X factor. But life is too short to waste so happily married to my Thai soul mate for 5 +years but always wary of the ???. So I fit the old factor and the reminder has reinforced the need to safeguard myself and my wife, as who knows what or who the future holds?? Mijan24
December 20, 200322 yr It's sounds to me that you need to get the priorities right, take care of your own kids, speak to the Phu Yai Bahn and seek his assistance in protecting your kids home, and stop worrying about loosing face or money. The family are only trying to care of themselves, which, like it or not you cannot really blame them. If you expect them to look after your kids then what the <deleted>*k do you expect ?? Do your wifes family and your kids a favour and take care of your own kids
December 20, 200322 yr I agree with married2surin. The kids are yours, the house is theirs. <deleted> the in-laws, take a stand. Get Johnnie Black for the puyaibaan.
