If you have access to Ebay that would be an option. Just checked and there are several models of Gitzo tripods offered. You can usually find someone who is willing to ship to Thailand but be aware that import duties and in transit theft could be a problem. Use a reliable shipper with tracking provided. Also, some Ebay sellers don't guarentee international shipments due to all the buyer scams. I did have an upper end digital SLR camera shipped to me while in school east of Rayong and received it without problems although there were customs duties to be paid before receiving it. Be sure an do your homework prior to purchase and good luck with your pending purchase.

Hard to find specific Gitzos here.

If you are through Hong Kong you can find the full range of Benro tripod, basically excellent exact knockoffs of Gitzos. I have both brands and find the Benro's great at less than half the price of the Gitzos.
