Mobile Phone Card With Memory Card

Featured Replies

I have a mobile phone with a memory card. If I take out the simcard and later put it back in, I have to re enter the time and date settings again. How come and how to fix it ?

Most mobiles have a small internal battery like the one on a computer. This keeps the time and settings of the phone if you remove the battery. It sounds like yours is knackered. Whether it can be fixed I suppose depends on what type it is. Try taking it to your local phone shop and asking ;)

it all depends on the operator

No, it has nothing to do with the operator.

Some cheap phones don't have a little battery to keep the real time clock ticking (or save the date).
