If you loose a mobil-telephone, always contact your SIMcard provider first, then register it in the IMEG register, so even the mobil-telephone it self is not working!

Where can you do that in Thailand, and witch company provides the service?

I would not even bother to notify operator of stolen phone.

Purpose of notifying your operator of stolen phone is to block your SIM card from being used/charged to you and to obtain your same number again on a new SIM card. RE stolen Phone, they can't do anything about that here to my knowledge.
