Nice fish well done. I had a nice day too caught 13 fish mostly big sawai 20 kg and one of 24 kg. A few small bugs.

But it was good because i got bites on all 3 baits. I did go for caho with a big ball of lam all the way to the other side in the boat. Too bad the sawai liked the bait better :D

what's the estimate of weight on the fish?

They really do look nice. Very popular in private lakes

The fishes were weighted. the largest was 28kg then 22kg,21kg and 18kg. The 2 caught today are the smallest.

Yes they are able to grow to a potential 10 feet and 290kg. The IGFA record for Chao Chraya Catfish caught is 41kg at Gillhams, Krabi. According to one tour company website Bungsamran Chao Phraya Catfish catch was 25kg and Shadow Lake is 15kg.

The reason I fished at Palm Tree Lagoon as it has supposedly quite a number of 50kg and perhaps the largest being 96kg.

Bungsamran was overcast and very humid today. The field next to the bungalows was on fire again just like last year. At 645pm it rained heavy with very stong wind. A lot of staff were blown away including many lum buckets and even plastic chairs.

We bottomed fish for cahos but caught a few decent size mekongs between 18kg to 42kgs. No photos as no one was keen to pose with the mekongs. In the evening I ran a rod for Chao Phraya catfish and caught a small 18kg.

We fish again tomorrow as my friends fly home to London on saturday
