Quick question, anyone know the price of a one way ticket to Bkk from Samui. Cheers.

Approx. 2200 baht for the first and last flights of the day. Add 1300 - 1500 baht for the other flights.

Yes, the airport is privately owned and Bkk air is the only one using it. Alternatively 12go air has just started flying out of Surat Thani, about 1500 per ticket I believe.

Yes and that's why it's so expensive!

i'm sure I paid 400 baht "exit tax" last time I flew....has it been reduced?

The sooner Tiger-Nok or even "aunti" Thai TG get in there the better but who wants to ruin an nice little earner...mate.(same in Trat from momory)

Also believe TG fl to Sura-T but you gotta get the bus and ferry over the water....

Yes they still have the 400 baht "departure tax" that you only pay departing from Samui, not Bangkok.

So if you´re not able to catch the early birds specials from BKK Air ( about 2400 BAHT one way) one-two-go is a quite good deal for about 1800 BAHT!!

But once in Surat, it takes about another 3 hrs (if you're lucky) to get to Samui.

Well worth the extra 600Baht and get up early or even better, leave late from BKK.
