Try Ban Chang thats in Rayong province and its got a good expat community

Rayong town is a good place. Booming economy, lots of new housing developments, good shopping, cheap restaurants etc. Dont live there but stayed there several times a year over the past 7-8 years.

yes, for most of the 16 years I resided in LOS.

It's full of bitter old drunks.

Should be fine if you stay away from the bars.
