Will be doing the tour guide thing with a relative next month and looking for some tips on interesting places to stay in Chiang Mai. Not looking for mainstream hotels but some place that is quiet, clean comfortable and maybe family run. Dontlike crowded backpacker places - beenthere done that. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

You can rent our second house for a few weeks. $15 per night plus power. No phone. Bore water. Can include a car or motorbike if you want. Shop is about 200 metres away.

Water delivery Saturday morning. Has frig, 2 bedroom, one single one double, stove, big yard quiet area, village aboutn 16 km from CM. PM me for details.
