a pal of mine whos wife has recently returned from a holiday to see her family has developed a nasty trait of talking very loudly . like shouting !

she hasnt been like this before ,he tells her to turn down the volume but she still keeps talking very loudly.

whats going on here ?

Did she fly there and back?

If so, best to take her to see an ENT speciallist. She will probably require treatment with a strong decongestant and possibly antibiotics for a middle ear infection.
