Starting To Learn Some Basic Thai

Featured Replies

Is anyone familiar with the audio/text lessions called linguaphone for learning some basic Thai words etc. Any suggestions? Cant seem to grasp my Thai phrasebook. Please advise.

Thanks Marshy

Linguaphone is good, if pricy. I beta tested the Linguaphone Thai course and learned reading and writing in a couple of months back in the early eighties. I have also used Linguaphone as a basis for teaching Thai to foreigners and English to Thais.

Look at www.linguaphone.com or contact them directly:

The Audio Forum course is good if somewhat dated to start out. The tapes are better than the AUA series.
