I remember Tom Finney a great player and extremely loyal to Preston, though he did consider an offer from Palermo in 1952. Bill Shankly said of Sir Tom; "Tom Finney would have been great in any team, in any match and in any age ... even if he had been wearing an overcoat." I guess there's no finer tribute.
