Guess it was a 110 volt device and plugged it into 220 without a step down transformer. Repair may be difficult as the motor is probably 110 volt 60Hz. You can try Amorn at Icon center.

LOL.. Sorry, but US appliances run on 110V. You plug it in here on 220 and you're going to fry it in a bad way.

Not sure if it can be fixed at reasonable cost, but you could try at some of the electrical repair shops that you often find near markets.
