Bali expats !!!
The only way to know how a certain place is, is to go there and spend as much time as you can afford. Taking other's advice isn't a help, as they might have different views on what makes a place good or bad, tastes in food, scenery, nightlife, climate etc. Reviews are helpful if you see the majority saying the same things, but they still aren't you. If 30 people say a restaurant is dirty, with lousy food and service, and 3 say it's fine, you can pretty much be assured it isn't a good place to go, but if the positives far outweigh the negatives, and that place has food you like, it's worth a try. The same with visiting a country, although it's a lot more expensive so you might want to look at what's available that you might like, then look at reviews to see what others have said, then make a decision, taking a chance if it fits you. -

So, you're modus operandi is to first flame people, "fredwiggy, stop talking about real men. Really, stop it. You don't have the first idea", then to become the victim, or some type of psychology teacher, which you're not.......... "I try to discuss the error of their ways with them 😊 rather than to use emojis"....................Tell others you're just here to join in a discussion. "But such conversations don't seem to flourish here 😊"................then put the blame on others when you are the one who started it "Instead, Trolling and Baiting is the name of the game.".................This is exactly the point I was making when you joined this discussion, and where you felt the "need" to attack not only me, but others who disagreed with you, which happens a lot of the time. These are all parts of that character type I mentioned, of which many are aware. So the next time I'm in a discussion, let's see if you can avoid being yourself, and try to be more helpful, without assuming you understand others here from a few replies. I have proven you wrong many times, and you take it personally, and come back to attack, troll like you said, instead of trying restraint and letting it slide. When I've been wrong, I admit it. I do know what makes a real man, and if you would understand my many replies on AN, you would see not only why I'm still in Thailand, but how I look at women, animals and life in general. A real man makes others around him comfortable and safe, and that's what I've learned to do all my life. -
