I know Lumphini has dual pricing, however a friend went onto the website for the other stadium (radjamoenen, spelling wrong) in Bangkok and he seems to think that is all one price for thais and foreigners, I think differently, I think this place also does the dual pricing.

Can anyone help with his, do both the major stadiums have dual pricing?

thanks in advance

They do have dual pricing. I went there once with a friend who was a tourist who paid "foreigner" prices. I showed them my Thai ID as well as my Thai tax ID card and they still refused to let me pay the Thai prices. I left and will not return, their loss. Better to watch it on tv.

There is some boxing at MBK on Wednesday nights. Starts at 6pm and lasts for a hour or so. I think there is 6 fights. It is free to watch as is used by trainers to give their guys a 'run out'. That said, there is some decent quality bouts down there.

This sounds good, is this at the MBK mall or in the sports centre next door?

Presumably the responder only presented a Thai driving licence as this seems to get a similar response from most Thai 'tourist attractions'

Also, no offence intended but what exactly is a Thai tax ID card?

Lets not cloud this discussion with smoke, mirrors and PM invitations please...

I think we are straying off topic, but yes; drivers license and tax id card (ID provided by govt. showing you pay tax making you eligible for national health care coverage etc)

Best to stay away from anywhere like this, its really funny when as a family they try and charge the foriegner price and you ask them how much will they charge for your half Thai/Foreign kids....that soon wipes the smile off their face and stops them dead in their tracks.....as for yourself..ID stands for identity....you showed a driving licence and a tax card so its a definate nogo...also be nice to know what the 'etc' is you get by having a tax card???

The "etc." is the benefits you receive from the state for paying tax. If you are unaware of what those are then please do some research. I am not your secretary.

Using the license (which is an ID) and the tax card usually works at state run enterprises, hence the reason I tried using it there.

Are you just being argumentative, or do you have a point?

I go regularly to Lumpini, rings side seats. I have my secretary order the tickets and am paying 700 per seat nowadyas, tickets delivered to my office directly, no hassle when I get to the stadium.
