Anyone see the trailers for The Hangover Part 2? The movie takes place in Thailand and according to the trailer parts of the movie are going to take place in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and some place that looks like it's along the Andaman Sea, presumably Phuket. I think the premise of a drunken Thailand adventure has the potential of being even funnier than the first movie.

Looks like it's going to be even better than the last one.

There was a story in April that it was going to be postponed, due to mike Tysons tattoo artist saying something about sueing over copyright. Not sure how true this is. Stories on the internet are not always true. I have done a google search on the release date and it says nothing about postponing the release.

Bring on the movie.

I for one cannot wait to see this movie. I loved the first one, and this one is in BANGKOK! And the missing kid is a student at Stanford--my old alma matter.

The first film, ‘Hangover’ great film, loved it, has to havethe best ever morning after the night out scene!

But I’m not getting all worked up about a sequel to this film, I hope it’s as good, maybebetter, but off the top of my head I can’t think of a single film sequel thatcome close to the original. They always are a let down.

Hope I’m wrong!

The first one was fantastic. Reminded me of some of my days at UNLV...especially that one toga party with the local fraternity. :whistling:

And of course many of us have had some "interesting" times in Bangkok. Can't wait for this to come out.

Since the trailer establishes that part of the film will take place in Chiang Mai I hope to see places like Doi Suthep and Thapae gate in the movie, but that might be asking to much. Either way I'm sure the movie will be great.

They were filming this movie next to my condo on Soi Morleng market near Victory Monument in BKK a few months ago. They were all very friendly and hanging out with the locals and stuff.
