sbk Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Visting my sister and she has some really adorable pets, I have only ever managed to get one great photo of one of them and that was happenstance. My own dogs are equally tough, I've never really managed to get a good shot of one of them unless it was by sneaking up on them somehow. Is there a tip to getting good shots or is it just luck of the draw and a really fast focus?
IanForbes Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 You touched on a good point, sbk. About all I can add is use an SLR camera with good focus time and just have patience. Just shoot, shoot, shoot and hope for the best. I wanted a nice photo of my son's black cat but every time I saw what WOULD have been a good picture, and got my camera, the cat changed position.
sbk Posted May 20, 2011 Author Posted May 20, 2011 I wish red eye worked on them, this one is a classic but a flash is required as the bathroom is dark (kitty likes to drink out of the faucet, while the other cat waits his turn)
