So I finally fell for all those ads on television telling me what Viagra was going to do for my sex life, but now I'm a bit worried. They tell me I should contact a doctor if the erection lasts more than 4 hours. Do you think I should send those three pretty ladies home and phone the doctor? Everyone seems to be having so much fun and it just doesn't seem right to upset everyone. I really don't know what to do. :whistling:

I hope that wasn't a thinly veiled attempt to boast about your lifestyle (which it kinda seems like you have a tendency to do) -- because if it were...it would be pretty sad, really.

Otherwise, I'm happy for you. Be careful of your heart though.

Just having fun, Joe. But, on some television stations the ads for Cialis and Viagra and other male enhancement drugs seem to be all you hear. And, on other programs there is a never ending stream of pharmaceuticals that are supposed to help everying from preventing warts and pimples to curing cancer. Then, (by law) they itemize all the terrible side affects that can happen to you if you DO take those supposedly amazing drugs.

Yeah, last time I was in the sates I was struck by that -- something that began after i moved away so long ago; some of them werer actually funny reminded me of Saturday Night/ Live /Second City type parodies:

"We guarantee you a restful nights sleep!

Side effects may include dangerously psychotic episodes, gangrene of the lower limbs or spontaneous combustion."

The problem with Viagra, et al, is that they are taken by older people who don't have the stamina to perform. So they have heart attacks as a side effect... Must be a BGs worsed nightmare; a farang dieing on them...

You have been warned!

True.

Because I spend half my time in Canada and half my time in Thailand I get a good exposure to all the differences between the two cultures. The differences in television are quite noticeable. Some ads are funny but others make me cringe. I can't believe how stupid the companies must think the public are. However, I do realize that many people don't want to actually STOP harmful actions to their bodies. They just want an artificial quick fix using some miracle cure.

One of the great benefits of being away from the States. By some estimates, depending on the programming, 60% of ads are from big pharma. With Fox News, probably 75%.

They would not pay millions for the ads if the people were not stupid enough to buy into it.

Agriculture is the second most profitable "business" in America.

Pharmaceuticals is number one.

Which one of the pretty ladies had an erection that lasted more than four hours? :o

It's no good having a woody for over 4 hours if you can't get it to grow enough to poke out your skidies. It would seem you have found out what most Ex-pats do when they feel hard…..They post on TV…. Well done, now you best get back to your date's; it must be costing you a fair penny!

Just to clarify things before people get their knickers in a twist. I'm just being silly and just wish I had that chance, but I'm back in stodgy old Canada for the next 5 months, and where men over the age of 50 (married or single) are lucky to have sex once a month.

However, the continual ads on television for men's enhancement, and all the pharmaceutical ads are beginning to get tiring. I was just making fun of the ads. The ads for Viagra and Cialis show men in their early 50s prancing around like school boys and somehow we are supposed to relate that to their new found sex life like they never had one before.

On your way home to Thailand, do not talk to the nice smiley person when you check your bags in to Bogota , for the free holiday, all inclusive, well it's cheaper and we can see South Anerica. Carramba Tequila...

And then, with bags rather heavier, arrive back in Bangkok.

So it's not hard to tell

when he took the Viagra as well

and got excited over Dang's charms

why Bubba died in Dang's arms

in that short time hotel.

The rest of the poem by Dean Barret, "The night Bubba got it for free." Google, it is online.

can thai tv use these male enhancement ads?

Well, obviously it is needed and should be quite profitable. That is, if you agree with another's post about how men don't know how to be men.

Short of the availabilty of men's groups in BKK, maybe a bigger dong would help.
